Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently conducted the inaugural BSNL 5G video call, hinting at an imminent rollout. The government has stated that BSNL's 4G network is fully prepared, with the significant assertion that this network can be upgraded to 5G. In an interview, Scindia mentioned that BSNL's indigenous 4G network is ready and will be made available across the country in the coming months.
According to the government, 80,000 towers will be installed by the end of October this year, with the remaining 21,000 towers to be installed by March 2025. This means that by March 2025, a total of 100,000 towers will have been installed.
